Linings Avalotis Corporation has vast experience in the installation of a wide variety of lining systems in many different plant environments, including SO2 systems, heat exchanges, water boxes, tube sheets, trench linings, and all floor coating requirements. The list of linings installed include, vinylester and polyester flake glass linings, 100% epoxy linings, 100% urethane linings, force cure linings, and anti-foulants. At the Penn Power Bruce Mansfield Plant, Avalotis Corporation successfully completed the largest re-lining project ever undertaken in the United States, and probably the world. In two successive outages for Penn Power, Avalotis Corporation installed flakeglass linings in two of three FGD scrubber systems and a 960-foot chimney flue. Over 390,000 square feet of flakeglass materials were installed, on time, on budget, and with no lost time accidents. The chimney flue work scope included removal of existing lead containing lining material, and reinstallation of 80 mils flakeglass. Both projects were completed within an eight week outage schedule.
